Enfield Grace Advocacy
Enfield Grace Advocacy offers a free advocacy service that has been specifically designed to help vulnerable adults who are struggling with multiple, complex problems. It mainly operates on Fridays, but also sees some clients on Saturdays.
The Enfield Grace Advocacy Team is the result of a partnership between Enfield Town Community Church and Grace Advocacy. All our advocates are volunteers from Enfield Town Community Church who benefit from the training, support, and resources of Grace Advocacy and are subject to its policies, procedures and management. The service is completely free, and there are no strings attached. All our advocates are Christians who are motivated by God's love and grace for them to show love and grace to others.
As advocates, we work with our clients to stabilise their lives. We often help clients apply for benefits, including Universal Credit and Personal Independence Payment, and to deal with unaffordable debt. We will also do what we can to help sort out any problems with benefits and access to adult social care, handle various other kinds of paperwork and bureaucracy, and to deal with housing problems.
To book an appointment, please email enfield@graceadvocacy.org, or call 02034751510 and leave a message on the answerphone. Please note, that as we are a small, part-time volunteer team, there may be a delay before we are able to get back to you. You can also come along to our drop-in which operates on most Fridays during school term time from 10.30am - 1pm, to enjoy a drink and biscuit, and arrange a time for a more formal appointment.
